During this five-day course, attendees learn how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation by leveraging the practices and principles of the Scaled Agile Framework® (SAFe®) and the seven core competencies of the Lean Enterprise. Attendees gain insights and practice how to coach programs, launch Agile Release Trains, build a Continuous Delivery Pipeline with DevOps culture, and empower a Lean Portfolio.

The first half of the course — Leading SAFe® — provide the basis to teach SAFe to leaders. The second half of the course focus exclusively on what it takes to successfully implement SAFe in the enterprise. Certifying as a SAFe® 5 Program Consultant (SPC), and becoming a change agent, enables attendees to coach and guide the enterprise to succeed in a disruptive marketplace and empower them to implement a Lean-Agile SAFe transformation.

Attendees must attend all four days of the course in order to qualify for the exam.

Prerequisites
All stakeholders in a Lean-Agile transformation are welcome to attend the course, regardless of experience.

However, the following prerequisites are highly recommended:
(1) 5+ years of experience in software development, testing, business analysis, product, or project management
(2) 3+ years of experience in Agile
(3) One or more relevant Agile certifications

- The course will be conducted in English by an SAI instructor.

About the tools used
- This course will be held in Zoom.
- We will use Google Classroom (including Google Drive) as a file sharing tool during the course.
- We will use Slack as a communication tool for instructors and participants.
(Each tool's name is required to be registered in full name.)

About Course Environment
- Please prepare a computer with access to a camera and microphone.
- Please use a wired and fiber optic connection. We do not recommend using a mobile Wi-Fi router or other devices as they may interrupt the communication.
- For a better experience, we recommend using a multi-display (two displays on one computer) or two computers to comfortably view the Zoom screen and other materials.

About the pre-conference briefing
- Approximately one week before the course starts, a briefing session will be held. We will have a briefing on the tools and materials to be used in the course, so participants are encouraged to attend.
